“Beautiful property near riverfront. Our cabin was definitely tired looking but really large. There was mold in shower and the breakfast was not good. However despite these issues it was a good stay.”

“The pool area is not well kept or clean. Breakfast included, but same food was offered everyday over 4 days of the stay, so we ended up grabbing breakfast out. Not convenient to downtown Charleston or the beaches if you are looking to go there.”

Room was tiny, bathroom walls had white stains all over and toilet paper stuck to them, shower floor was level with the rest of the bathroom floor so the water just flowed across the whole bathroom, which was very unsafe. Neighborhood didn’t feel very safe. Really glad this was just a quick stay for us.”

“The manager was hardworking, friendly, and tried to be accommodating. Our room was toxic with mildew, and I needed to wear a mask and wash my feet after stepping barefoot on the carpet. The room was not clean. Hairs, crumbs, caulked over mold and mildew, stained toilet... I did not trust the water in the shower, and we could not stay to enjoy the pool because I needed to remove myself from the unhealthy air, esp. since I had just been discharged from the hospital with breathing issues. “I am handicapped so I had a handicapped room, but it was on the fourth floor, and it was a rather long walk. The staff was extremely helpful when we couldn’t figure out the shower. The knobs were not labeled so we didn’t know which turned on what, but it got figured out and I do need to mention that Rockeyea was extremely helpful and knowledgeable as well as friendly. The breakfast was phenomenal lots of choices. I would definitely stay there again.”

“Great location for traveling with young children. The pool was great for relaxing with our 3 year old and having drinks delivered pool side from the bar. The room was nicely sized and comfortable. However, we had 3 wasps/hornet nests and had to ask several times for all of them to get taken care of. When someone did come to assist they just sprayed them and did not remove the nests. “We love the location and usually have a great experience here. However, this time, the room was pretty run down. The blackout curtains were cracked and broken, pillows were super lumpy and uncomfortable and bathroom towels were very threadbare. Just seems like they need to do some updates to the linens and rooms.”

“Super amazing at check in. Just a surprise $12 day parking fee not reflected through Expedia but no buggy. Front seat share all amenities, pool, breakfast (included and delicious) and they even had a state park pass we could borrow to hit a beach with! Coffee and cookies in lobby always, will stay again!! Right downtown to walk to local restaurants and shops and on the water”
